Under the FS-Mark test profile, the Corsair MP510 did come out just ahead of the Intel 800p SSD.

The Corsair Force MP510 was also holding up well for the PostgreSQL database server benchmark.

Under this variety of Linux I/O workloads, not only was the Corsair Force MP510 much faster than the MP500, but it was also operating cooler. The Force MP510 240GB NVMe SSD had an average temperature of 49 degrees and a peak of 68 degrees.

Overall, the Corsair Force MP510 from my testing over the past few days has been quite a competitive NVMe PCIe SSD that is fairly priced with the 240GB model retailing for just $70 USD from the likes of NewEgg. To see how your own Linux storage performance compares, simply install the Phoronix Test Suite and run phoronix-test-suite benchmark 1810208-SK-CORSAIR5106.
