Regardless of whether you are an AMD or NVIDIA fan, the results show overall that Darktable -- and other imaging manipulation programs -- is a great use-case for OpenCL and delivers much better performance than running only on the CPU. Keep in mind the Xeon E3-1280 v5 is a rather high-end Skylake CPU and lower-end Core i3/i5 CPUs would see much lower performance.
