For those concerned about Numpy Python performance, Clear Linux was by far the fastest while CentOS 7, openSUSE Leap 42.2, and Debian Linux were much slower than Clear and Ubuntu 16.04/16.10.

Clear Linux also came out in front for PyBench.

In other of our common benchmarks, the results were neck-and-neck between the six tested Linux distributions.
