The GeForce GT 740 was still running around the speed of the GTX 650 for Unigine Heaven but its performance was still noticeably well behind GTX 750 Maxwell graphics cards.
With this very demanding Unigine test, the average temperature of the GT 740 rose to an average of 47 Celsius.
The Unigine Valley results were similar to Heaven....
