Initial Fedora 32 vs. Fedora 33 Beta Benchmarks Point To Slightly Higher Performance

But for most of the system workloads, the Fedora Workstation 33 Beta performance was similar to that of Fedora Workstation 32 on this Intel Core i9 10900K system.

Around 200 benchmarks were run between these Fedora test configurations, when taking the geometric mean of all the data:

The geometric mean with the ~200 tests actually points to Fedora Workstation 33 coming out slightly ahead of Fedora Workstation 32 -- both out-of-the-box and with the stable release updates that positions it closer to the F33 versions. Those wanting to dig through all of the benchmark results can find them on OpenBenchmarking.org. When Fedora 33 is released in late October we will be through with more benchmarks on more hardware. Outside of the quantitative benchmarking, Fedora Workstation 33 Beta has been running superb on the hardware I have been trying with it the past several days.
