First up with the Kraken benchmark, Google's Chrome remains a great deal faster on both of the notebooks tested. Obviously with this being a pure JavaScript benchmark, the WebRender performance is unchanged. As far as the Ryzen 5 4500U vs. Core i7 1165G7 performance compares, keep in mind this testing was limited by the laptops I have available with the Ryzen 5 4500U being just AMD's mid-range Renoir notebook processor.

The WebXPRT test puts Firefox 83 and Chrome 87 being neck-and-neck for both notebooks tested on Ubuntu 20.10 while the WebRender enabled run actually caused a slight performance drop on both systems.

WebRender also caused a hit to the performance with the Intel Tiger Lake Dell XPS 13 notebook while the AMD Ryzen 5 results were similar between the two Firefox runs. Chrome 87 carried a hefty lead with WebXPRT.

For the HTML5 canvas test with "CanvasMark", the Ryzen notebook with its Vega graphics saw similar performance between Firefox 83 and Chrome 87 while WebRender regressed the performance. The Tiger Lake notebook with Intel Gen12 graphics saw WebRender deliver similar performance but Chrome was a great deal faster.

With the CSS StyleBench test, this is one of the few areas where Firefox is a great deal faster than Google Chrome.
