Firefox 83 vs. Chrome 87 On Intel Tiger Lake + AMD Renoir Under Linux

Chrome 87 meanwhile was a great deal faster than Firefox 83 on both the Intel and AMD Linux notebooks.

The JavaScript Speedometer results were closer between Firefox and Chrome compared to some other browser benchmarks, but Google's option still took the cake.

There was at least healthy competition still when it comes to WebAssembly performance between Firefox and Chrome.

But at the end of the day for the assortment of benchmarks carried out in this article, Chrome 87 was 10~12% faster than Firefox 83 for both the Intel Tiger Lake and AMD Renoir notebooks tested this round running Ubuntu 18.10 and upgraded to the Linux 5.9 kernel.
