Intel Core i3 2100 Sandy Bridge vs. Core i3 7100 Kabylake Performance
The Stockfish chess engine performance was also noticeably faster with the i3-7100 Kabylake processor on Antergos Linux.
The Darktable RAW photography workflow software was faster with the i3-7100, but not by the margins seen with some of the other benchmarks. This may be due to using the distribution-supplied Darktable for this test where as the other tests were built from source for each CPU.
