Sequential reads with FIO on the Intel 54s was coming in at 347MB/s, which was ahead of the other SATA 3.0 based drives for this comparison.
Sequential writes meanwhile came in at 418MB/s.
The Intel 545s had a strong showing with FS-Mark. In some of these tests the Intel 545s even comes out ahead of the Samsung 950 PRO NVMe SSD.
