The 800p SSD does well with its FIO random reads and writes testing.

The sequential read and write performance of this Optane 800p SSD is also in line with expectations.

With IOzone writes, the Samsung 950 PRO ended up coming slightly ahead of the 800p SSDPEK1W120GA.

Lastly is a look at the NVMe drive temperatures.

The 800p Intel SSDPEK1W120GA was right in the middle of the group with an average reported NVMe drive temperature under load of 54 degrees and a peak of 63 degrees, still well below the older Intel 600p SSD and especially the toasty Corsair Force MP500.
