Next up are looking at results for power efficiency and performance-per-Watt.

The overall system power draw of this Pentium G4400 + Intel H110 micro-ATX setup was very good with an average power draw of just 38 Watts during benchmarking and a peak of 43 Watts. The peak was just above the Core i5 6500's average power use and well below the i5-6600K.

The Phoronix Test Suite was monitoring the AC system power use via WattsUp Pro power meter and logging the results for each test.

When looking at the performance-per-Watt in FFTW, the Pentium Skylake came out ahead of the Core i5 6600K but behind the Core i5 6500...

In Himeno and OpenSSL the performance-per-Watt was also between the i5-6500 and i5-6600K.

When making use of the HD Graphics 510 is where the Pentium G4400 performance-per-Watt dropped significantly and well behind the other CPUs with HD Graphics 530.
