With the Himeno pressure solver the G4600 was coming in between the E3-1235L v5 and i7-4770K.

You really don't want a Pentium CPU if you'll frequently be building the Linux kernel.

The G4600 results were surprisingly decent for this test being multi-threaded well.

It's been a bit surprising seeing how the Pentium G4600 can stand up to the Core i5 6500 Skylake in a number of tests. The i5-6500 quad-core has a 3.2GHz base frequency with 3.6GHz boost frequency.
