In some common CPU tests, there wasn't any difference between the scaling drivers and governors.

With FFMpeg, however, P-State did manage to come out faster.

Primarily if you're a Linux gamer, the CPUFreq driver for this Core i5 Skylake processor was delivering noticeably better frame-rates than with the P-State.
