Linux 5.15.35 Released With Important Performance Fix For Intel Alder Lake
For many different workloads you should see Linux 5.15.35 offering better performance than 5.15.34 and prior for Alder Lake hybrid systems. Of course, if you are already on Linux 5.16 or newer you already have this Intel P-State fix.
Yep, Linux 5.15.35 is a heck of a lot better for Alder Lake hybrid processors than prior Linux 5.15 LTS releases.... Unfortunate though it took so long for this patch to be back-ported to this Long Term Support kernel series for this patch that has been on master since November. In turn Ubuntu 22.04 LTS users will be able to enjoy better performance soon with a stable release update. Too bad I don't have the time/resources to deal with more Linux hardware support/performance problems like this I routinely encounter and to shine light on them - if you'd like to show your support, consider joining Phoronix Premium or at least turning off any ad-blocker.
