How Well Modern Linux Games Scale To Multiple CPU Cores

With BioShock Infinite we see a huge jump in performance from having one core to two cores, but after that the benefit is rather limited. There was some measurable improvement with three cores, but once hitting four cores the performance was flat-lined the rest of the way. BioShock Infinite though is a rather older Linux game port.

For those curious about how the overall CPU usage looks in these different configurations...

As well as the GPU utilization, which was never fully-stressed by this game.

The RAM usage metrics are mostly unchanged.

With Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, the game didn't see any additional benefit when advancing past three cores.
