Linux 4.11-rc1 + Mesa 17.1 Git Tests With AMDGPU+RadeonSI/RADV
Tomb Raider's performance was also unchanged between Linux 4.10 and 4.11-rc1.
So the main winner out of the AMDGPU changes in Linux 4.11 appear to be Dota 2's Vulkan performance with it reliably going up now back during our DRM-Next testing and now with 4.11-rc1. That performance had improved across all three tested graphics cards. But in the other OpenGL Linux gaming tests, the impact of AMDGPU Linux 4.11 changes were minimal, possibly with the exception of Civilization VI seeing some improvements but its performance still appeared rather awkward. At least these are some fresh Linux 4.11 + Mesa 17.1-dev numbers for reference; tomorrow I'll have some fresh NVIDIA Linux results for comparison.
