All of the graphics cards were tested on the Core i7 4790K system running 64-bit Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. Again, the latest proprietary drivers are in use for this round of testing on the many different GeForce and Radeon graphics cards.

As expected, the Counter-Strike: Source results with the newest proprietary Linux drivers with today's high performance graphics cards at 1920 x 1080 is hardly too interesting, but these are the tests commonly requested from Phoronix readers. The high-end GeForce graphics cards were hitting a higher frame-rate than the AMD Radeon graphics cards before flat-lining -- 260~270 FPS with the best NVIDIA hardware compared to 240~250 FPS with the AMD GPUs.
