Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has seen a lot of performance optimizations for the Mesa/Gallium3D drivers since this Linux port was released by Feral Interactive. Initially the performance was unplayable with Radeon GPUs and even the R9 Fury was much slower than the RX 580. Fortunately, over 2017 especially, the performance has become quite playable with higher-end Radeon graphics cards like the RX 580 and R9 Fury series.

But more optimization work could be done both to the Linux game port and the drivers for achieving better performance.

The Dota 2 OpenGL performance has also improved too, especially between Mesa 17.0 and 18.0. Unfortunately, no RADV Vulkan comparison numbers since the latest Dota 2 updates require the Vulkan maintenance extension that is not supported by older versions of Mesa/RADV.
