Mesa 18.0/18.1/18.2 RadeonSI + RADV Benchmark Comparison With Radeon RX 580 / R9 Fury / RX Vega 64
Thrones of Britannia, the newest major Linux game release from Feral Interactive, does perform better with Mesa 18.1 and Mesa 18.2-dev Git.
At ultra quality settings, Thrones of Britannia continued running faster with RADV on Mesa 18.1+.
But with extreme quality settings, Mesa 18.1+ actually yields a performance drop for this Vulkan-powered game. But then again with extreme settings at 1440p, none of the three tested graphics cards would be able to deliver playable frame-rates.
