Like all these tests, on the Core i5 2500K and with these modern GPUs, the games are left being CPU bottlenecked when using the binary driver. The average frame-rate across all resolutions for the NVIDIA binary driver with World of Padman was 504 FPS while Nouveau Gallium3D was just 63 FPS. At 1920 x 1080 on this community-created driver, the frame-rate for the GeForce GTX 460 was just above 30 FPS.

The GeForce GT 220 and GeForce 9800GT continue to be much faster than the Fermi GPU.

The NVIDIA binary driver is more than thirteen times faster than the latest Nouveau Fermi driver on Mesa's Gallium3D architecture.
