For those interested in BioShock Infinite under Linux, the GTX 1070 performance was right between the GTX 980 and GTX 980 Ti for performance. The GTX 1080 and GTX TITAN X seemed to indicate the game becoming CPU bound at that point.

While F1 2015 has been out for Windows since last year, it was just released for Linux a few weeks ago. If you're interested in this racing game, the GTX 1070 could run at 1440p ultra quality settings with an 86 FPS average that put it just ahead of the GeForce GTX TITAN X.

Tesseract is a lighter weight open-source OpenGL game, but it still shows performance scaling up through the GTX 1070 and GTX 1080. Even with Tesseract, the R9 Fury doesn't come close to competing with the GTX 1070.
