The DiRT Showdown performance continued improving through the RTX 2060 although a more significant generational leap in performance was going from the GTX 960 to GTX 1060.
In the case of the F1 2017 racing game that is native on Linux and rendered using Vulkan, going from the GTX 1060 to RTX 2060 yielded a 66% improvement in the frame-rate compared to 60% in going from Maxwell to Pascal.
In the case of the power efficiency, there was a 22% improvement for Turing.
F1 2018 can run on Linux via Steam Play for running the Windows game and mapping Direct3D 11 calls to Vulkan using DXVK. F1 2018 wouldn't run on the GTX 760 but for the RTX 2060 did show its performance now coming in above 140 FPS at 1440p with high quality visuals.
