NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN X On Linux

With the open-source Tesseract game/engine, the TITAN X was 17% faster than the original TITAN and 14% faster than the GTX 980 at 4K.

The Unigine benchmarks remain favorites for GPU benchmarking on Linux with OpenGL. With Heaven at 1920 x 1080, the TITAN X was 28% faster than the GTX 980 and 44% faster than the original TITAN.

Unigine Valley also ran great on the TITAN X and a big upgrade over the GTX 980 and other tested graphics processors on Linux.

With the Unigine benchmarks, the average operating temp of the TITAN X now was in the 80s, but it still was lower than the Radeon R9 290 on Catalyst for Linux.

The performance-per-Watt of the TITAN X remains a step back from the GTX 980, but still good overall and a big upgrade over Kepler. The latest-generation AMD Radeon GPUs also couldn't match the power efficiency on Linux.
