NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 Offers Great Linux Performance
When running the LuxMark OpenCL workload, the system power consumption was about 14 Watts lower with the GTX 970 compared to the GTX 980.
On a performance-per-Watt basis, the GTX 970 and GTX 980 offer similar results and again show the excellent efficiency of NVIDIA Maxwell GPUs.
