NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970/980: Windows vs. Ubuntu Linux Performance

The synthetic GpuTest results weren't hugely interesting with not much difference in performance on the two graphics cards under Windows and Ubuntu Linux with the latest binary blobs. There were some small but measurable differences in some of the GpuTest results, but nothing too shocking or cause for concern. Overall, with these latest NVIDIA drivers on Windows 7 and Ubuntu 14.10 Linux, the performance for the most part was similar as expected out of an OpenGL driver that's largely shared code between platforms. In a few tests though, the NVIDIA Linux experience had the upper-hand while the only case where the NVIDIA Windows setup delivered measurably better was Unigine Valley at 1920 x 1080.
