When it comes to the web browser benchmarks, Windows 11 Pro tends to perform very well against Linux considering the amount of attention Google and Mozilla invest into Windows support considering their user-base. With this round of testing on the AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U, it was more of a heated race than we have seen with other devices in the past. In particular, when using Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with the newer Linux 5.19 Git kernel the results were very close to that of Windows 11. Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with its stock Linux 5.15 kernel tended to trail in comparison to the v5.19 level of performance.

There were still some browser benchmarks with Chrome and Firefox where Windows 11 was ahead, but it was a much healthier race than in some of my past benchmarks.
