SilverStone Temjin TJ08-E Evolution
The results are continued on OpenBenchmarking.org. Generally the CPU and system temperature dropped 1~3C when the 180mm SilverStone fan was running at 1200RPM compared to 700RPM.
Overall, the Temjin TJ08-E is another very competitive chassis from SilverStone Technology for those looking towards a compact micro-ATX/ITX/DTX enclosure. The TJ08-E evolves the TJ08 into being more friendly with modern hardware, offering better cooling performance, and other welcomed enhancements. At a retail price of $100 USD, it is more expensive than some of the other micro-ATX enclosures on the market, but for being a SilverStone product it is right in-line and comparable to other high-end compact cases. Some have complained about the SilverStone TJ08-E as being potentially troublesome to install some hardware components or the install process being a nuisance, but with the stock hardware used for this TJ08-E build, there were not any complaints. The noise level of the 180mm fan also was not a real issue. In the end if you are after a compact micro-ATX enclosure, the SilverStone Temjin TJ08-E would be worth further consideration.
