Windows 10 vs. Ubuntu 16.04 LTS - Radeon Software

While just a tech demo for a demanding engine, the Unigine Heaven results are exciting to see how close the Windows 10 and Ubuntu AMDGPU-PRO numbers are... But even more exciting is that the RadeonSI Gallium3D driver on both the RX 480 and R9 Fury is able to compete with AMD's proprietary driver components! With these latest tests, the open-source driver code as of this week is just a few frames behind.

The Unigine Valley tests are also very promising with the close performance between Windows and Linux as well as how well the pure open-source Radeon driver is becoming quite fast.
