Two months ago I wrote about Steam having 500+ Linux games while now to start off August they have crossed the 600 game threshold.

As of writing there's 612 games on Steam that are natively available for Linux and SteamOS. Among the 612 games are 577 that have a single-player game mode, 144 that are multi-player games, 98 games that are cross-platform multi-player, and 74 co-op games. The listing of the Steam Linux games can be found via SteamPowered.com.

There's still many more games to come from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to numerous other ports that are still in-progress. Quite likely later in 2014 we'll break 1,000 Linux games on Steam. What's been your favorite new Linux game so far? Let us know by commenting on this article.
