Mesa release manager Emil Velikov of Collabora has announced the release of Mesa 11.2.2, the newest stable point release for this user-space stack to the open-source graphics drivers.

As is the case for Mesa point releases, 11.2.2 is focused around delivering bug fixes while new development is around the planned release of Mesa 11.3 in June. Found in Mesa 11.2.2 are some libGL DRI2/DRI3 fixes, libEGL support for OpenBSD, better big endian support for the Radeon R600g, and a variety of other bug fixes.

In total there are around four dozen fixes brought with Mesa 11.2.2. More details can be found via the release announcement. For those still using the older Mesa 11.1 series, Mesa 11.1.4 is also now available with many of the same fixes.
