Mesa 12.0 Still Hasn't Been Released

While we're already one week into July, Mesa 12.0 has been quietly riding well past its June release schedule.

Mesa 12.0 has many new features especially when it comes to the advancing of OpenGL 4.x support by the major Intel/Radeon/Nouveau graphics drivers. While enthusiasts/gamers should really be riding Mesa Git for best support, it's a pity to see the 12.0 release has yet to happen.

Unfortunately, there isn't any clear reason yet for this delay. Yesterday it was finally brought up on Mesa-dev how 12.0 is now two weeks past the expected release date with no apparent explanation. The Mesa release manager has yet to respond on that thread.

Anyhow, Mesa 12.0 should be here soon and at least 12.0 has been branched long ago thus not holding up the Mesa 12.1 Git development that should be released around September.
