Mesa release manager Emil Velikov has announced the first release candidate of Mesa 12.0, formerly known as Mesa 11.3.

After a slightly drawn out release cycle, Mesa 12.0 was branched from Git master today. Mesa 12.0 includes OpenGL 4.3 for Intel / RadeonSI / Nouveau NVC0 drivers, AMD Polaris support, performance improvements, and much more. I'll write up my usual Mesa feature overview shortly of highlighting the Mesa changes over the past three months.

The very brief Mesa 12.0 RC1 announcement can be read on the Mesa-dev list. The current hope is to officially release Mesa 12.0 in mid-June.
