Just days after the NVIDIA 358.13 Linux driver release, the 358.16 Linux stable driver is now available.

At NVIDIA.com the change-log for the NVIDIA 358.16 Linux driver looks very lengthy, but in reality it's not as the list includes the changes of the earlier NVIDIA 358 beta drivers -- such as the work around the new NVIDIA mode-setting driver code and more, which have all been previously covered on Phoronix.

Since that initial NVIDIA 358 public driver push, it's been mostly bug fixing and support for other smaller features. Like the recent NVIDIA legacy driver updates, NVIDIA 358.16 also supports X.Org Server 1.18.
