While there is nothing to report yet on the release of X.Org Server 1.19 even though we're nearing a half-year since the 1.18.0 debut, the latest xorg-server 1.18 point release is now available.

Adam Jackson announced the X.Org Server 1.18.2 release this Friday and it comes with a fair amount of changes. X.Org Server 1.18.2 brings GLAMOR support for using OpenGL core profiles when available, DRI2/DRI3/Present correctness fixes along with hang/crash fixes, XWayland has X-Video and xf86vidmode extension support, and there are Xwin improvements for the window and clipboard management.

This isn't strictly a bug-fix release with the new GLAMOR OpenGL core context and XWayland X-Video material and more, so overall this is rather a measurable update to X.Org Server 1.18 while waiting for X.Org Server 1.19. There's close to 100 changes with X.Org Server 1.18.2. A complete listing of the changes for this point release can be found via the xorg-announce message.
