Tensorflow and Caffe were only tested on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and Clear Linux 19110 due to dependency issues, but here we see Intel's optimizations continuing to pay off with much greater performance than what's found out-of-the-box on Ubuntu.

It was a similar dependency situation with Python's SciKit-Learn, but at least Ubuntu 18.04 LTS didn't have issues with dependencies but it did regress noticeably in speed while Clear remained on top.
