Turning to some more OpenMP benchmarks with Rodinia, their fluid dynamics solver was the fastest with Clear Linux on the Xeon Gold setup while on the Extreme Edition system it was a toss-up between Clear, openSUSE Tumbleweed, and Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.
But with the OpenMP LavaMD test, Clear Linux was much faster here.
