There were OpenJDK Java advantages to the FSGSBASE support enabled, though in some cases the difference didn't seem as great as what was seen on the Xeon Cascade Lake Refresh server with these patches. Once Linux 5.9 is getting into shape, I'll likely do a fresh head-to-head comparison.

The Intel Xeon server tested saw great gains out of FSGSBASE while on the EPYC 7F72 server the difference was much smaller.
