AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE Linux Performance

The Radeon graphics cards with the Mesa RADV driver perform very well for HITMAN 3 running on Linux via Steam Play. The RX 7900 GRE here was outpacing the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER while the RX 7900 XTX can come close to the RTX 4090... This game though is an exception to the overall performance.

Obviously the Radeon graphics cards with their strong performance leads to a great value if you are heavily into the HITMAN franchise.

At the opposite end, the NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards with their proprietary Linux graphics driver was handling the F1 22 racing game much better than the Radeon GPUs on RADV that sometime recently seems to have regressed for this game.
