With those tests out of the way, next up is a look at the CPU rendering performance against many different systems running Ubuntu Linux with a variety of modern processors. These are mainly for reference purposes if wanting to evaluate various CPUs for usage with the new Blender 2.90. The CPUs tested were those that I had the time to do over the past few days. If there is interest I may do an even larger comparison with more CPUs and other platforms available.
