Next are some additional Linux OpenGL tests featuring a wider variety of Intel graphics hardware in recent years including the Core i5 4670 Haswell with HD Graphics 4600, Core i5 6500 Skylake with HD Graphics 630, Core i7 5775C Broadwell with Iris Pro 6200 graphics, and then the Kabylake i5-7600K / i7-7700K, and the new Coffee Lake Core i7 8700K. Again, tests done on Ubuntu 17.10 with Linux 4.13 + Mesa 17.2.1.

In these non-Steam tests as well, the Core i7 8700K was basically at the same level as the Core i7 7700K. Meanwhile, the Broadwell-era Core i7 5775C socketed CPU with Iris Pro 6200 graphics is by far still the fastest... It's unfortunate with Coffee Lake Intel has yet to roll out a new CPU featuring updated Iris Graphics with a big L4 cache.

Hopefully with Raven Ridge APUs coming soon, Intel will decide to release a new chip with powerful graphics.
