When it comes to Mesa 17.2 stable versus the current Mesa 17.3-dev Git series, there were no real changes in performance for the OpenGL tests run. Those results if interested can be found via this OpenBenchmarking.org result file.

Likewise, between Linux 4.13 stable, Linux 4.14 Git, and DRM-Next there currently aren't any OpenGL performance changes to note out of our common GL test cases, but you can see that data via this result file.
