9-Way H2'2021 Linux OS Performance Comparison On Intel Xeon Scalable Ice Lake
With some of Intel's own software creator workloads like OSPray and Embree that are part of oneAPI, Intel's Clear Linux was leading there as well on this Ice Lake server.
Clear Linux along with CentOS Stream and AlmaLinux 8.4 were leading when it came to the video encoding workloads with SVT-AV1 and the other Scalable Video Technology encoders for VP9 and H.265/HEVC.
The same three Linux distributions were out in front too with the x265 encoder.
