There was quite healthy competition among these 2021 Linux distributions.

PostgreSQL was enjoying the best results with CentOS Stream, Clear Linux, AlmaLinux, and Arch Linux as far as the out-of-the-box performance is concerned but keep in mind there are file-system defaults and other tunables to consider if aiming for a performant database server.

Fedora Server 35 Beta was showing strong Nginx performance while openSUSE Tumbleweed came in strong for Apache HTTPD and other distributions mixed in depending upon how far the web server was being stressed.
