The Spectre/Meltdown Performance Impact On Linux 4.20, Decimating Benchmarks With New STIBP Overhead
IndigoBench is another one of the real-world workloads we're seeing some impact from now on Linux 4.20 with STIBP where as earlier Spectre/Meltdown mitigations hadn't impaired its performance.
Blender is another workload we found to be affected by STIBP in Linux 4.20 with the current Git state.
Memcached performance has been affected a great deal by Spectre and Meltdown.
