The Glibc impact albeit with micro-benchmarks showed hits from STIBP.

In the case of PostgreSQL, the performance hit from the Linux 4.20 upgrade with STIBP was enough to position the dual Xeon Gold 6138 behind the dual EPYC 7601 server.

Linux 4.20 was also causing the dual Xeon server to lose rank against EPYC with the single-thread Redis benchmarks.
