The Latest Linux 5.2 + Mesa 19.2 Radeon Performance Against NVIDIA With Mid-Range GPUs

F1 2018 continues to run with ease on these mid-range cards at 1080p.

With the HITMAN game that runs natively on Linux with OpenGL, RadeonSI performance is exceptional with the RX 570 matching the GTX 1660 while the RX 580/590 outperform the GTX 1660 Ti.

With Hitman 2 that can run on Linux via piping the Windows version through Steam Play + DXVK, the standing for Radeon isn't quite as good with this Vulkan rendering but still a good showing and better than we see in some Linux games.

With Steam Play + DXVK, the RX 580 / GTX 1660 can still handle running this Windows game at 1080p with ultra quality image settings.
