OpenArena is an extremely lightweight test case, but still it's interesting to see how the performance compares between operating systems. With OpenArena, the OpenGL 2 performance was faster on Linux than Windows: about 10% faster but then again the results are already in the hundreds of frames per second.

The frame latency between platforms is quite similar.

Unigine Heaven remains a demanding OpenGL test case on both Windows and Linux. With this latest round of Unigine Heaven testing, the NVIDIA GTX 1060/1080 performance is basically the same between Windows 10 and Ubuntu 16.10 using the latest NVIDIA drivers.

With Unigine Valley, Windows 10 ended up being faster. With the GTX 1060 the Windows numbers were better by 8% while the GTX 1080 was faster on Windows by over 20%.
