Of 16 tests carried out looking at the file-system performance, leading the race on the Samsung 870 QVO was XFS with 7 wins while Btrfs and F2FS were then tied in second for four wins each while EXT4 secured just one win. But in last place half the time was Btrfs.

If taking the geometric mean of all those benchmark results, EXT4 and XFS were effectively tied for first place followed by F2FS and then Btrfs in a distant last place.
