The AMD Ryzen performance also came out far ahead of the Xeon E-2200/E-2300 competition with the Apache Cassandra NoSQL database system.

With the InfluxDB time-series database there was at least a healthy fight between the Xeon E-2388G and the Ryzen 5800/5900 series, but AMD did come out on top.

Where the Xeon E-2300 series was a better performer was with the PostgreSQL database server when it comes to carrying out both reads and writes to the database.

AMD Ryzen was performing much better than the Intel Xeon E series when it came to only carrying out database reads, but if using a mix of reads and writes is where the Xeon E-2300 series did consistently better perform over the Ryzen 3000/5000 series.
