AMD Makes A Compelling Case For Budget-Friendly Ryzen Dedicated Servers

The Ryzen 9 5950X can be found in retail channels for under $600 USD currently while the Xeon E-2388G I have not been able to find from Internet retailers at the moment while carries a similar price tag of about $578 USD at least going by Intel's recommended customer price. The Xeon E-2388G performed the strongest against the AMD Ryzen 5000 series when it came to PostgreSQL with primarily database reads, MariaDB database server when not too heavily utilized, and various single-threaded workloads like JSON data parsing and other tasks that are optimized for single-threaded or AVX-512 found with Rocket Lake.
